Could Theresa May's Vans Be About To Make a Comeback?

Cold? Go home and put on a vest
#MaysHeatingTips

Remember when Theresa May was Home Secretary and she sent around vans telling immigrants to "Go Home or Face Arrest"? Could her vans be about to make a comeback this time telling people how to keep warm as energy prices start to soar?

Another day and another broken Tory promise. Just a few weeks ago during the general election campaign, Theresa May promised if the Conservatives won the election she would "cap energy prices" obviously, that promise went in the bin along with other promises in the Tory manifesto just a few short weeks after the election that May says she won ( but didn't really as she lost her majority). She was forced to do a deal with Ireland's Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) in order to stay in power as prime minister, that deal bung cost the British taxpayer £1billion and is likely to grow exponentially as time passes and the DUP spends all the money.

Where is the outrage at May's broken election promise in the MSM and broadcast media? They are strangely quiet about this BROKEN PROMISE, yet just a few days ago the entirety of the Tory right-wing press and the Conservative party themselves were in meltdown over something leader of the opposition Jeremy Corbyn DIDN'T say or promise!

Proof, if proof were ever needed that our MSM and broadcast media are Tory biased and are actively interfering and spreading malicious lies in order to sway public opinion against the Labour party.

May I suggest Mrs May if we need any funds to help our most vulnerable citizens, the sick, the disabled (whose cars, wheelchairs and benefits you have already removed), the young and elderly to pay their energy bills this winter, perhaps we could tap up the DUP for a bung loan?

Another Day ANOTHER Conservative Promise Broken
(and it's only a few weeks since the general election!)

Who could forget the vans that shamed the entire British nation?

Nick Ferrari and LBC Radio

On Sunday I heard a clip of Nick Ferrari the LBC radio presenter speaking to Tory Chancellor Phillip Hammond, in it Ferrari and Hammond deliberately mislead listeners about what Jeremy Corbyn did not say about student debt (Independent). Why is LBC Radio deliberately spreading what they know to be false information? It's 'fake news' which they are now making themselves a part of.
Ferrari has not only been told countless times that Corbyn did not say what he repeatedly says he did, he has been shown the actual proof in the NME video.

Yet still Ferrari is permitted by LBC to deliberately spread what they know to be false information, this has a name it is called disinformation.
The clip has Ferrari talking to Hammond asking him about what he thought about Corbyn's promise to students, Hammond replies he was outraged. Why didn't Ferrari ask Hammond if he was outraged that the entire Tory manifesto went into the bin?
Why didn't Ferrari point out that the only numbers in the Tory manifesto were page numbers and not one single policy was costed, unlike the Labour manifesto where every policy was costed in a separate booklet.
Why didn't Ferrari mention to Hammond that over 128 leading economists actually backed the Labour manifesto spending plans?
Hammond was asked by Ferrari if he thought Mr Corbyn had lied about the student debt policy and Hammond neatly swerved the question and Ferrari allowed him to get away with it. Hammond never answered the question because he knows fully well that Corbyn never lied and so does Ferrari.

The NUS backs Jeremy Corbyn and has told an LBC presenter that Corbyn never promised to wipe out existing debt and yet LBC persist with this black propaganda.

As for Hammond what a complete joke of a man, he has the gall to accuse Corbyn and Labour over a promise that is impossible to know would be kept as Labour did not win the election and there was NOTHING in the now binned Tory manifesto about students and since the election Hammond has overseen slyly pushing through and INCREASE in student fees just before the election.
I wonder is Hammond 'outraged' about the fact that he and his government are presiding over an increase in student fees from 4.6 percent to 6.1 percent? Fees will increase to £9,250  this year. Why didn't Nick Ferrari ask the 'outraged' Chancellor about this or the fact that according to the Institute of Fiscal Studies (IFS) student debt is now reaching over £50,000? Strangely quiet about this is Nick Ferrari and the 'outraged Tory Chancellor!
Why doesn't Ferrari grill Hammond about what the Conservative government have done to students instead of attacking Jeremy Corbyn the only leader actively trying to help students? It's absolutely absurd the lengths that Ferrari is prepared to go to in order to damage Jeremy Corbyn, that said, Ferrari, is nothing but a liar and LBC should not allow him to spread his lies on national radio!

Is Another Tory Recession Coming?

Image result for recession economy

Hold on because it looks like things are going to get very very bumpy and this time there is no 'big clunking fist to steady the tiller"!

There has been a slow down in Construction, the housing market, the car industry and manufacturing in general. These are all serious barometers which can predict the future of the UK economy.  The country cannot live on the service sector alone as we are about to discover!

An interest rate rise is teetering on the brink and was only saved from a rise this time because of falling oil prices. The reason why when asked, the Chancellor Phillip Hammond was very reluctant to crow about it, is because RPI (including housing) and used by pay negotiators is 3.5%, signifying a nasty cut in the value of wages and living standards.(Again another time the Tory supporting press is keeping quiet, where previously this would have made headline news!)
Rising numbers of people are once again living on the personal debt of credit cards and loans (a trend that was seen previous to the 2008 crash) but they are not buying fancy goods, many are using their credit cards as bridging loans to get them from payday to payday to pay rent, rates and mortgages etc! Is this the start of the Brexit Bite or an indication that another financial crash is heading our way, or both? The gap between consumer debt, flat-lining pay and low pay is widening - up 10 percent in just the last year alone.
Leading economists are asking if the widening gap is the start of another credit crunch and financial crash,

There are also serious doubts about the real levels of unemployment that are now so low that the figures are in danger of exposing the level of lies and disinformation this government are operating in.  The figures show unemployment levels at 4.5% levels we haven't seen since early 1970, truly remarkable, yet the right-wing Tory supporting press never backwards in going overboard and OTT to support their party have hardly whimpered about it, where is the huge splash across the front page and inside pages telling us how great everything is? Even stranger is we are in 'silly season' the papers are all looking for something to report but they have hardly mentioned this 'astonishing achievement' - why?  To say that Tory Chancellor Phillip Hammond was reticent to talk about this 'achievement' is putting it mildly - why? Tory MPs who are known to be able to crow for England are strangely silent - why?  If you go back into the history of this blog you will see that I have been pointing out that the unemployment figures are artificially low for years and explaining why I believed this. Are the levels of unemployment now so low that they are in danger of busting the Tory lie that is unemployment wide open?  Here Jim Edwards of the Business Insider explains why he believes "Unemployment in the UK is now so low it's in danger of exposing the lie used to create the numbers."
Mr Edwards believes that unemployment is 3 or 4 times higher than the official figures, here he attempts to unpick the gobbledegook from the Office National Statistics (ONS) that usually goes right over normal people's heads (including mine).

The official unemployment rate in the UK right now is 4.5% — a record low. But, as the ONS makes clear, that number doesn't count part-time workers who want full-time jobs, "inactive" workers alienated from the workforce, people who retire, students, or those who work in the home. Once you wrap all those people in, the number of jobless people is actually 21.5% of the workforce, according to the ONS.

The true level of unemployment Even now the ONS is not counting those forced onto government workfare contracts (who are unwaged) and those who are sanctioned by Jobcentres for a whole myriad of reasons, I have long argued that the ONS should be allowed to include these figures but they can't because they are not given the figures by the Government, so the Government are purposefully withholding statistics they know could drastically alter the official number of unemployed. The ONS also does not include those claimants that Jobcentre's forced into self-employment who are not idle because they do not want to work but are idle because there is NO work for them to take, they are waiting for the phone to ring. These people are often experiencing weeks between jobs, yet are unable to claim unemployment benefit and thus are not included in the official statistics.

The economic outlook for the next few years as we go into Brexit is looking decidedly unsettled and the Conservative Government is complacent, it's doing nothing to offset the looming financial problems, they are all too busy fighting each other and planning leadership bids and the prime minister Theresa May is weak and has no authority over her cabinet ministers and has even had to resort to calling an extraordinary cabinet meeting to attempt to assert her authority with the 1922 Committee being forced to back her by giving her authority to sack errant ministers, this comes after weeks of open squabbling and damaging internal leaks. Former PM David Cameron called the EU referendum purely to get him out of a political fix from his right-wingers when he lost the referendum he ran away before he could be blamed for the carnage. Mrs May then became PM, she held a snap election despite saying five times she wouldn't and lost her majority and has caused absolute chaos in the country and this will only get worse. we are about to tread unknown territory with a recession coupled with Brexit. This is seriously bad news and it is entirely of the Conservative government's making. Not one of the government's Brexit team seems to know what they are doing, all they have done so far is alienate the countries we need onside for our own financial good. The Tories are all running about like chlorinated headless chickens!

Next time you hear the Tories and their mates in the Tory right-wing press telling us how Labour 'crashed the economy' and how it is all Labour's fault that greedy Tory bankers gambled with customers money (and lost) and gave credit out to anyone who asked for it and took part in the sub-prime mortgage fiasco that set the world up for the 2008 financial crash, ask them what the real level of unemployment is and ask them why this government are presiding over escalating borrowing, yet have absolutely nothing to show for it, ask them why seven years later they have not cleared the deficit up, the same deficit they promised to clear by 2015, yet now say they'll clear sometime never in the future.

The truth is that austerity has not only failed, it has absolutely failed. One example of this government's short sightedness is, when Iain Duncan-Smith (IDS) was Work and Pensions Secretary he was in charge of the Tiry welfare reforms, part of those reforms were targetting disabled people and bullying them back into non-existent work in non-existent jobs. IDS had a doctor devise the new Personal Independence Payment forms to deliberately make disabled people short of the points (usually just 2 points) short of the total they need to claim middle rate mobility payments which allows them to lease a 'motability' vehicle. This has resulted in thousands of seriously disabled people losing all or part of their allowance and Motability had no choice but to take back the cars from disabled people, not only has this had an effect on employment of mechanics for servicing the cars etc, it has had a direct effect on the sale of new cars, so this so-called reform has ended up not only costing the disabled person their liberty and peace of mind, it has ended up costing the taxpayer more than it has saved, it is a false economy. The only change this reform has had is that disabled people are forced to pay out of their own pockets and more often than not they just do not have the extra money so go without. This, of course, all feeds into the local economy and the national economy.

Muscular Dystrophy reports that 900 disabled people are losing their cars each week due to Tory cuts
that 's 50,000 specially adapted vehicles removed and of course, these people not only lose their car but will not be ordering a new car when their lease is up!

50,000 Disabled people losing their cars

Our government are not protecting us and are totally clueless and because the Tories are scared of losing power they are allowing a weak, damaged ineffectual incompetent prime minister in Mrs May to limp on and the people picking the cost up will be us, the 95% and NOT the top Tory 5% high earners who will make millions out of our misery in a recession of their making!

If Labour had won the general election they would now be busy implementing their policies for big infrastructure investments, taking the railways and other utilities back into public ownership, they would be borrowing the same amount the Tories are currently borrowing but instead of lining the pockets of the right-wing establishment, they would be using the money to benefit 95% of us!

Instead, the taxpayer is being forced to cough up £1 billion to pay off the Democratic and Unionist Party (DUP) to keep this zombie government in power and this is absolutely and categorically wrong.

Coming Soon, The Tories New NHS

The Tories New NHS

The Tories New NHS will be here with us all shortly. Richard Branson is working on a take-over as I write this, the Conservatives have already sold huge swathes of the most lucrative parts of the NHS to Virgin Care.
The big trade deal that Donald trump talks about is American health companies who are already circling our NHS like vultures, waiting to swoop to take over our NHS, best get your finances in place to take out expensive health insurances. Healthcare bills are the number one cause of bankruptcy and homelessness in the United States!

Watch what Michael Moore has to say about our NHS, everything he said is coming true. We are sleepwalking towards a privatised NHS, Jeremy Hunt is privatising our NHS  right now under our noses.

Meanwhile, Jeremy Hunt has been allowed to get away with telling barefaced lies about mental health nurse numbers and the papers have not even mentioned it, they've been too busy trying to distract us by feeding us lies to try and damage Jeremy Corbyn. Read the full story in Evolve Politics Here.

"Labour is demanding an inquiry into the privatisation of a government-owned NHS recruitment firm that saves hospitals £70m a year.NHS Professionals helps the health service in England tackle its staffing crisis by arranging for doctors and nurses on its books to cover potentially harmful gaps in rotas." Full Story at the Guardian Here.

We never ever know when we may need our NHS, are you prepared to stand by and do nothing and allow the Conservatives to deliberately destroy so they can tell us it's not working so will have to privatise it?

Stand up and fight for our NHS because when it's gone it's gone and we will never ever be able to get it back.

A Tory MP accuses Corbyn’s team of lying. Minutes later, she gets caught lying herself [TWEETS]

MP Lucy Allan is best known for fabricating a death threat. Which is why it was surprising to see her sharing an article that accused Labour supporters of lying. Again. Especially as Allan actually lied in response to criticism of what she’d shared.

Oh dear

Allan shared an article from Order Order:

In response, one Twitter user mimicked Allan’s tweet:
Allan denied this to be true though – seemingly having forgotten that the internet never forgets:
For full article please read at The Canary HERE:
Well worth reading the full article which exposes another Tory MP Lucy Allan of telling blatant lies. Obviously the Tories are in panic mode over Jeremy Corbyn's rising popularity, after all, they have spent the last 2 years telling lies and deliberately misleading the public about the man. Look what happened as soon as the public got to read about and see the real Jeremy Corbyn, where the right wing Tory press like The Sun, Times, Telegraph etc could not disinform people. His rise was almost meteoric and today he is more popular than Theresa May!

Vince Cable Calls Jeremy Corbyn Out on Tuition Fees? Seriously?

The Liberal Democrat Student Fee Pledge

The newly elected leader of the Liberal Democrats Vince Cable is another politician deliberately lying about Jeremy Corbyn. What a way to commence his leadership by lying! Seems Vince has the same kind of relationship with the truth and inability in sticking to their party manifesto pledges as Theresa May, no wonder he's in secret talks with the prime minister about entering another coalition with the Tories! Let's face it it's the only way he and the Liberal Democrats are ever going to get into power again. He denies it of course, but as Vince and Theresa are both strangers to the truth how can anyone believe a single word they say? I certainly don't! How do we know they are not plotting to be very 'naughty' and go running through wheat fields together? Mrs May is looking to shore up her position as prime minister for when her blood money £1 billion DUP bung has expired in a couple of years. Prior to the 2010 general election and entering the coalition with the right-wing Tories Vince Cable signed a pledge promising not to raise tuition fees the ink wasn't even dry on his signature when he backed the Tories to the hilt in TREBLING tuition fees and yet he has the brass neck to call Jeremy Corbyn out about a non-existent pledge on clearing student debt? I could quite easily slip over into a hyperbolic rant here, but I'll settle for calling Cable a total and utter hypocrite. I also haven't forgotten that the Liberal Democrats voted with the Tories to make law the health and social care bill (now an Act) which is directly responsible for the funding cuts, privatisation and the utter chaos in our NHS now, but don't expect the 'Fib Dems' to ever admit they are a bunch of lying hypocritical politicians, they'll just start whining that they helped stop the excesses of the Tory policies - yeah right of course they did, believe that and you'll believe anything. Anyone up for a naughty gamble through a wheat field?

If you believe that the Liberal Democrats are left leaning I'm sorry you're wrong, they are every bit as right wing as Margaret Thatcher and Theresa May, they lie from constituency to constituency and say whatever they think will get them elected and their problems started (which all but finished the party) when the Liberal Democrats found themselves in government and were expected to keep their promises, they didn't, they failed and they failed because they lied and because they are all but Tories under a different name, it is why hard right wing Tories feel comfortable in voting for them.

Tory Lies

Some things never change!

Only Three things are certain in life, death, taxes and Tory lies!

It's been a truly bizarre few days in Tory La La Land the Conservatives and their supporters in the right-wing press and the broadcast media and who appear to have been teetering on the brink of 'the political abyss' have gone and fallen completely in.

I expect the Tories to make capital out of the opposition's foibles it's par for the political course, after all, all the opposition parties will do exactly the same but the Tories have gone completely nuclear over something Jeremy Corbyn didn't say! A proposal on student debt, which Corbyn spoke about weeks ago!

The incontrovertible truth is that all the while the Tories are ranting away about something Mr Corbyn didn't say bizarrely they are drawing attention to the fact that they binned off their entire manifesto within a couple of weeks of publishing it, why would they do this? Not forgetting that the Tories have made more u-turns than the BSM school of motoring and broken more promises than any government in British history! However, there is a serious note here, if there wasn't such a fuss over Theresa May's dementia tax and plans to scrap pensioners winter fuel allowance and she wasn't forced to do a U-turn during her dreadful election campaign (remember "strong and stable?) and if she hadn't lost her majority in the House of Commons, she would definitely have gone through with these harmful policies. Even scarier is this if Theresa May or any other Tory leader get a working majority in a future general election how do we know they will not implement the 'dementia tax policy'? They are already planning to hit the disabled with even more punitive cuts so the truth is we don't know, we know absolutely nothing because Theresa May has been proven to be so erratic, so unpredictable, incompetent and such a blatant liar.  How many times did she say this "there will be no general election before 2020"? Before calling an election completely out of the blue and creating absolute chaos in the country. I believe they will implement these harmful policies and I believe it no matter how many times they deny it, look at their history, they promised not to raise VAT before raising VAT (several times). Former Tory PM David Cameron faithfully promised us that there would be "no more top down reorganisation of the NHS" just a few weeks before ordering the biggest reorganisation in NHS history, which is resulting in huge swathes of our NHS being sold off to the private sector. You can 'never trust a Tory' not ever, lying is in their DNA!

The Tories going bizarrely OTT about something Corbyn did NOT say shows us one thing very clearly, they are liars and don't care who they hurt as long as they cling on to power. remember this the Conservative party is desperate and they are worried about Jeremy Corbyn's popularity so please do not be complacent as history shows us, a wounded and desperate Tory is a very dangerous Tory and power means everything to them, power is the Tories God!

Here is what Jeremy Corbyn actually said.

Impressed With JCCCC - Cool Calm and Collected Corbyn!

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn's appearance on the Andrew Marr show last Sunday, was a classic lesson in; "how to keep your head while all around you is losing theirs"!  After the week he had to endure, you may have thought he would appear stressed, edgy evasive, jumpy, you may even have been a little concerned for his health, after all, like many of us he is no spring chicken! But no there he was giving a lesson in cool -  Mr JCCCC, Jeremy Cool Calm and Collected Corbyn!

Andrew Marr did his job, he tried to trip him up, but to paraphrase "you stumble if you want to, the gentleman is not for stumbling",  JCCCC remained eloquent, cool calm and collected, directly answering questions from Marr with the customary direct answers that have become the honest man of politics political trademark.

While a few of  his errant malcontent MPs all ran around like the headless chickens they have become ie, Emma Reynolds, Simon Danczuk etc and even the Tom Watson, (although Watson's head seems to have taken on a life of its own and was last seen trying to force itself through the doorway of House of Commons creaky old toilets), Corbyn gave a master class in how to remain calm and influence people. His appearance on Marr, shows the side of him that the Tory press and the Tories do not want us to see. We saw the sensible man, the man that doesn't want to rush to war, the man who wants heels to cool and for all to be given time to think things out, logically, calmly and rationally. If this is a taste of a future prime minister Corbyn, I say bring it on, the public are ready for a proper PM who takes his office seriously and who is more concerned with the people than he is about his celebrity.

David Cameron;s indecent rush to bomb yet another Arab country was done more to try and divide the Labour party, than it was to help (or most probably hinder) any peace efforts, Cameron has obviously sunk to a new low, using the plight of war torn Syria as a political football to play for his own advantage. Of course anyone with half a brain cell knows this vote was planned to cover up Tory chancellor's embarrassment in making a U turn after Mr Corbyn and Labour forced him to turn back on tax credits cuts. The public have sussed this, but not apparently some malcontent Labour MPs who are b not only intent on undermining Corbyn at every twist and turn as they make new 'friends' with the Tory press, they are obviously intent on undermining their own political careers, as soon as they serve their purpose to the Tory press, their new bestest mate right wing journos will turn on them just as ferociously as they turn on Corbyn, not only that, these MPs will soon discover the wrath of the vast majority of the Labour membership and Labour supporters in general. They should remember Karma, she can be a real bitch when she bites!

Anyway  back to JCCCC's Marr performance, no wonder the Tories and the Tory press and  some of the right wing malcontent Blairites in the Labour party do not want us to see this side of Corbyn and want us to believe he is bumbling, indecisive and all the rest of it (which is patently untrue), they're terrified the public will listen to his common sense, like his cool, clam, collected rational approach and that would be a disaster for them, because the British public would flock towards Jeremy Cool-Calm-Collected Corbyn in droves - as proven throughout all last summer when he drew crowds of thousands at each venue he appeared at.

No David Cameron - #DontBombSyria

David Cameron wants to bomb IS/Daesh in Syria, however, Daesh is also in the UK, Belgium and France etc so does he intend to bomb us and them too?  Of course not, so why is David Cameron so keen  to bomb Syria? It's fact that David Cameron has been trying to bomb Syria for virtually all his premiership  and I am wondering why?

Saudi Arabia has been a big buyer of UK made weapons since the 1960s and this practice has intensified since David Cameron came to power in 2010. Cameron has led several arms selling conventions to Saudi Arabia. Cameron has defended British arms selling conventions to Gulf countries and insisted that the Arab Spring was a positive development and that there were "no no go areas" in talks with autocratic allies. One has to wonder here how this quote would be met by the Tory press and Tory MPs and their hysterical supporters if it had come from the Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn? One or two papers (Sun, Mail & Telegraph) would surely be demanding Corbyn's head on a stake that's for sure.
David Cameron wants us to show respect to Saudi Arabia because he wants his friends to be able to go on selling arms to Saudi and the Saudis want to stay friends with David Cameron, so we can do the Saudis dirty work for them and carry on bombing Syria. Note that Saudi Arabia has not done a single thing to help stop the situation in Syria, yet has been waging war on Yemen. A bloody conflict in Yemen has been raging for many months - but largely ignored by the UK and the rest of the world. The Yemen has suffered devastating air strikes, led by Saudi Arabia, they have killed thousands of Yemeni civilians and destroyed homes, schools and hospitals. Meanwhile, the UK government has been providing weapons to those committing these horrific war crimes. Where is the outrage in our parliament? Where are the MPs all queuing up to condemn Saudi Arabia and threaten them with airstrikes if they do not stop bombing Yemen? Why is the Tory press and the broadcast media not covering this and informing the British public?

If Britain bombs Syria, how do we know that we are bombing where Daesh actually is? Does David Cameron really believe his own  nonsensical claims that Daesh leaders are all sitting around in Raqqa just waiting to be exterminated by coalition bombs? "Hey! Here we are Mr Cameron, come drop your bombs on us". Does Cameron really believe that these inhuman sub species do not have prior warnings that a bomb is coming their way, and they they don't disappear into the crowds of innocent Syrians within seconds of being told warplanes are coming? So perhaps Mr Cameron should actually tell us on whose heads his British sent bombs will be falling? Hospitals, schools, shops, markets, full of the poorest most vulnerable Syrian citizens trying to live in their civil war torn country. These are the people too poor to get on a boat and try to get out of that hell hole, so I don't suppose they matter too much to anyone, they're just "collateral damage" as the Americans say, unfortunate but hey shit happens in war ------next.  'Hell', Cameron doesn't even care about those highly educated people his bombs have helped to displace, they make it on to the boats and if by some miracle they and their families arrive intact and don't lose their tiny children and babies to death by drowning in the cold sea waters, they are soon made aware that they can expect little or no help at all from Britain. Cameron wants all the 'glory' of bombing the hell out of Syria, but he wants to quickly run away from the responsibilities dropping those bombs on innocent people give us. Cameron has made it virtually impossible for refugees (he has helped to displace) to seek asylum from the bombs that he (Cameron) is having dropped upon them in their own country. What an utterly shameful appalling indictment on us the British people, Appears "British fair play" went out of  Downing Street window the day Cameron became prime minister in 2010.

If Cameron has his way and his wish to bomb Syria is granted and the UK starts filling up the already crowded airspace with British Tornado warplanes helping to bomb the living hell out of Syria and terrifying Syrian citizens, can he tell us whose side we are actually going to be on?

In 2013 Cameron and his then foreign secretary William Hague wanted to bomb Syria along with President Obama, the then Labour leader Ed Miliband stopped him and in turn was treated to a vitriolic foul mouthed outpouring of personalised abuse from number 10. "a fucking c**t and a copper bottomed shit" and the French hate you were amongst  the insults coming directly from PM Cameron's Downing Street office. Yet Ed Miliband who was at that time backed by the current leader of the Labour party Jeremy Corbyn, were categorically proved ten thousand percent right not to attack Syria, The then so called "rebels" that Cameron and Hague wanted to fight alongside and help their attempts to overthrow the democratically elected Syrian President Assad, were not "Syrian freedom fighters" they turned out to be members of IS/Daesh and Al Qaeda. Cameron and Hague not only wanted to support these terrorists with British bombs, they wanted to support them with British taxpayer funding and a British taxpayer funded supply of arms. Yet absolutely nothing is said of this in the Tory supporting right wing press and much of it has been expunged from the internet by Conservative Central Office, it's as if history has been re written. Can you just imagine the who-ha if Jeremy Corbyn had done this? Would the Tory press and Tory biased broadcast media have kept so quiet? Miliband was accused of siding with Russia, now Cameron wants to side with Russia and Russia is fighting to keep Assad in power, the same Assad that Cameron wanted to arm so called 'rebels' to dispose of in 2013. Most Syrians just want the bombing to stop and want their country left alone with Assad in control, so is Cameron on their side?
Miliband and Corbyn were absolutely correct to vote to stop the foolhardy rush to bomb Syria in 2013 and they are absolutely correct to try and cool the war heels of Cameron now.

France has been bombing Syria for months has it prevented a terrorist attack in France? Did France bombing Syria prevent the devastating Paris attacks that resulted in so much loss of life, bloodshed and ruined lives? Where was the wall to wall coverage of bombing of a Syrian school in Raqqa with the loss of life of five little children?

When the UK joins Russia, the US and France in dropping bombs on Raqqa, how will it be known that Daesh fighters have not entered a school or hospital using hostages to hide amongst endangering the lives of innocent children and Syrian citizens - or is this OK because it's 'collateral damage?'

Our number one action should be not to bomb and attack Syria using the language of war, it was NOT Syria, or the Syrian people or even President Assad who attacked Paris, it was Daesh terrorists. In my opinion the president of France Francois Hollande announcing that France/the west was at war with Daesh is fundamentally a huge error. That must have been music to the ears of Daesh leaders, to be told they are at war with France/Europe is just the kind of legitimation they want, this gives them an excuse in their eyes to "legitimately attack" other countries and most of all it gives them ammunition to recruit impressionable minds to their 'cause' and if we are to get anywhere at all, it is this that we must try and stop first and foremost.

How far has our country Great Britain sunk when we allow a peace loving man to be mocked, lied about and totally and utterly and deliberately misrepresented, simply because he believes that bombing another country causing pain, distress, fear, grave injuries and deaths is the wrong thing to do and that we should exhaust all other avenues before taking such actions first?

Cameron and the American president Obama has only now started talking about how we must close down the bank accounts of Daesh. stop them selling oil, stop their supply of arms, destroy their training camps etc etc. Yet this is exactly what Jeremy Corbyn has been calling for, for YEARS not months YEARS! Jeremy Corbyn was calling for action on 'IS' before it became "fashionable" by the chattering classes, armchair generals and bar stool preachers to do so. Yet this is ignored and he is crucified in the Tory press for NOT wanting the deaths of the innocent, and for NOT wanting the lives of members of our armed forces put at risk and above all for NOT wanting to increase the likelihood of a terrorist attack here in the UK and the horrors of that.

Where are we as a country when we persecute a leader whose anti war stance has been proven right on Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and countless other occasions?
Where are we as a country when the right wing press are so venomous they hound, bully and persecute a person for wanting peace and for wanting to try and find a peaceful solution to try and end this conflict?

In the end all the bullets, bombs and talk of war will not save a single life but talking and trying to find a political solution will.

Jeremy Corbyn is not saying we should not go into Syria, or that we should do nothing, what he is advocating is the thinking man's war. Cut off Daesh money supply, cut off their arms supplies, cut off their oil revenues, destroy their training camps and above all cut off their supply of impressionable minds which they use to recruit as foot soldiers.

How many times are the British public going to allow themselves to be fooled by war hungry Tory press presenting them with jingoism and contrived answers polls?
How many times are we going to meekly allow the likes of the Tory press and Tory broadcast media using phrases like "mastermind" to describe daesh terrorist leaders? These people are not masterminds they are a ramshackle subspecies getting lucky, they are cowards because they don't blow themselves up, they recruit impressionable young men and women to do that, while they carry on their cushy lives and we keep giving them the ammunition to use to do it, with each and every single bomb we drop on another defenceless people in yet another Arab country.

Go into Syria with crack forces of all countries under one command, but not to bomb or kill. Go into Syria and start rebuilding their infrastructure their schools, hospitals, clinics, shops and markets etc train their doctors, nurses, police etc and each time Daesh bomb it down - rebuild it! Show people in Syria we will not stop and leave them without a life and show them that terrorists will nkt win. Show people here in the UK, France Belgium, Russia the US etc that we want to help positively not want to hurt their people, Carry on until Daesh and their destruction becomes reduced and isolated.  If we keep doing this then we stand a chance of positively influencing would be recruits to Daesh terrorism and we can win the war, battle by battle without dropping a single bomb. In short what we as a huge coalition would be doing is removing the number one tool Daesh use to recruit their foot soldiers and in this way we can and will eventually beat terrorism. We will never beat it by bombing and killing.

If we back Cameron bombing Syria we substantially increase the likelihood of another terrorist attack in the UK and each time David Cameron sings his war tunes and makes his war phone calls to Labour MPs trying to drum up support for something those MPs instinctively know will do nothing but increase the risk to the UK and if they give him their support, then they are enabling the hell that will be visited upon so many of our own people.

Cameron's way is insanity, it is not the way. The only reason he is doing this now is politics, pure and simple politics. He doesn't have to do this now, the reason he is is doing so, is to try and cause more unrest in the Labour party. If Labour MPs consent to this, then they will have helped unleash what will visit us.

There is another way and I prefer that way, the way of Jeremy Corbyn.

Ed Miliband Doesn't Wobble and he Doesn't Fall Down!

Once gain the leader of the Labour opposition has come in for a barrage of negative articles in the Tory supporting press, in papers like the Daily Mail and Sunday Mail, the Sun, Telegraph, the Times, Express, Star etc.
It's no coincidence that all these business people suddenly felt they had to share 'concerns' about Ed Miliband with the right wing Tory supporting press! This was people who were obviously contacted by the Conservative party and asked to smear and personally attack Ed Miliband in public through the Tory press and the biased broadcast media.
If the Conservatives and their mates in the Tory press expected Ed Miliband to buckle falter they were always going to be disappointed, Ed Miliband doesn't wobble and he doesn't fall down. he's made of stronger stuff than that.  Much strong than the pathological, narcissistic lying incompetent David Cameron. Under the instructions of Lynton Crosby they threw everything at him last week, and he turned their fire back on them and managed to raise Labour in polls by 2 points, they are starting this week in the same way and Ed Miliband is growing into it, he's ignoring their negative smearing mud slinging and just calmly telling the British people what Labour will do if elected.

The more the Tories and the Tory press lie about Ed Miliband, or try to malign him, or just plain bully him, the stronger he is becoming.

Keep going Ed, we are liking it and the more they do it, the more resolute I become and so do many others I know and:

Sunday, February 1, 2015

Tory Lord Blyth Former CEO of Boots Alliance is a Tory Party Donor.

Today several of the Tory supporting Sunday press have obviously been in collusion with each other and each paper has produced Ed Miliband bashing articles.

The Mail on Sunday has a bizarre spread over 5 pages, basically all about how Ed Miliband is 'useless' etc and how Labour are not going to win the general election. They even had a series of Ed Miliband morphing into Neil Kinnock. Trying to raise the spectre of the 1992 general election. Whatever impression it was attempting to portray all they have succeeded in doing is preaching to their own rabid right wing supporting Mail readers, the rest of the population will most likely look on with total bemusement (if they bother to read the reams of boring overkill at all).  The Mail on Sunday looks like a Tory paper in flat panic mode.

You know when the Tories and their mates in the Tory supporting press are in trouble, they come up with nonsense like this.

If these papers and Tory extreme right wingers are so sure that Ed Miliband is so useless, so weak and 'indecisive' etc etc, then why are they all going in for the bullying overkill trying to assassinate the man's character? Surely they should quietly leave him alone to get on with it and seal his own fate, giving them the room to campaign sensibly for the Conservative government they so obviously desire? Why are they trying to make out that a perfectly nice man, a kind honest truthful and very clever man is the 'anti-Christ'? It's totally absurd and not just a little bizarre.

Note to the Mail, Ed Miliband is just a Labour politician, he has not committed any crime, he is just standing for PM in what is after all supposedly a rational democratic country. If you want some corruption and political scandals, best you don't look at Ed Miliband, I fear you'll be disappointed, look a little closer to home, with Cameron and his 'friend', not to mention George Osborne turning up in Prime Minister's Questions week after week looking totally off his face, actually, why no mention of this? I wonder how many pages you would devote to this if Ed Miliband and Ed Balls were to be behaving somewhat dubiously?

Why hasn't the Mail investigated why Circle Health were awarded £1.5 billion in lucrative NHS contracts so soon after its share holders donated over a million pounds to the Conservative party? or do they think that Mr Miliband eating a bacon sandwich awkwardly to be more newsworthy?

The Mail on Sunday also covered a really absurd story about Boots Alliance CEO, Stefano Passina an Italian businessman who is a tax exile from Italy, living in Monaco and who pays zero tax in the UK. The Story was first covered in the Telegraph.  Apparently all Pessina had to do to get a huge story in the Mail today was to say that in his opinion the UK should not elect Ed Miliband. Quite what the UK general election has got to do with him is an enigma, apart from the fact that Boots pays low wages which the taxpayers of the UK are then forced to bring up to a living wage, so in short, the British taxpayers are subsidising Boots payroll, while this billionaire who pays little tax anywhere in the world, sits on his arse in Monaco trying to dictate the outcome of the UK general election.

Of course what has got up his nose, is that if Ed Miliband is elected, he is going to reform the British banking system and apply something like the Tobin tax, or transaction tax, which will make tax dodging companies and individuals like Pessina and Alliance Boots, Amazon, Vodafone etc pay UK tax and he doesn't like it. The tax will not affect those companies that already pay their fair share of tax, only those who do not and it is past time this happened. If nothing is done about our defunct capitalist system soon, then we will (not if - will) have another 2008 type crash.

What the Telegraph,  Mail and Passina also doesn't want us to know is that Tory peer Lord Blyth when at Alliance Boots wanted to buy NHS Walk in Centres from the Tory government at knock down prices. Lord Blyth has also donated over £20,000 to the Conservative party.

The Conservative-Liberal Democrat coalition have been selling off  NHS walk in centres to the private sector, like Virgin, Medicare etc and some have actually started charging £25 for a consultation. under the NHS, these vital walk in centres were free to use.
The closures and sell offs of NHS walk in centres has been attributed to helping cause the crisis in the NHS and NHS Accident and Emergency Departments.

Why is the Telegraph, Mail and Sky News giving such prominence to a foreign businessman who is a tax exile living in Monaco and is CEO of a company that pays poor wages which the British taxpayers are then forced to subsidise? What is more, why doesn't Sky News include this in their bulletins? Why are they trying to deliberately mislead the British public?

Scratch the surface of any Tory attack on Labour and the corruption, bungs and donations just comes oozing out.

To what extent was Lynton Crosby the Tories election strategist and lobbyist with fingers in every conceivable corrupt pie involved in the talks to get all the leading Tory press to attack Labour and Ed Miliband on the same day? What kind of dirty political game is David Cameron playing and bearing this in mind, just how much can he actually be trusted?

All this and the attack on Ed Miliband just contained hearsay, foreign businessmen who don't pay UK tax trying to influence the outcome of the British election, a lot of nonsense about Miliband being 'haunted' and of course the Mail could not resist rehashing the absurdity of Ed Miliband's bacon sandwich, it's totally and utterly ridiculous and it's about time Ofcom did their job, stepped in and stopped this behaviour, once again this just demonstrates that the press cannot regulate themselves and need to be regulated.

The truth is that the Tories are slowly privatising our NHS and are using bankers, private health companies and businessmen CEO of companies like Boots Alliance to do it. Stefano Pessina has a vested interest in the Tories Health and Social Care Act not being repealed by a future Labour government led by Ed Miliband as prime minister, no wonder he doesn't want Mr Miliband to become PM, it would be a disaster, not for the British public, but for him and Boots Alliance who would have their lucrative NHS contracts rescinded.

Has David Cameron Shot Himself In Both Feet Over Greens Inclusion In TV Debates?

David Cameron Running Chicken Scared From TV Debates

The general election is drawing ever closer and the prime minister David Cameron still has not agreed to a format for the live TV debates that proved so popular in 2010. For almost 2 years Mr Cameron has been prevaricating over these debates and has used every trick in the book to avoid appearing. First he tried to say that the TV debates were too much of a tie, then he said they should be moved to months before the election (what would be the point of that?) He has also tried ignoring the issue entirely hoping they would die a natural death. Now under pressure from the broadcasters and Ed Miliband to finalise a format the prime minister suddenly came over all 'concerned' for the Green party! Mr Cameron said if the Greens were not included, then he was not going to take part. Undeterred, the TV companies got together and announced they would oblige the PM and include the Greens, however, at the same time they preempted Mr Cameron's next objection and also announced that the SNP and Plaid Cymru would also be invited to take part and also added a caveat that if any leader of any party failed to sign up then they would simply erect an empty lectern in their place. All the leaders of the other parties have a agreed, but Cameron is still prevaricating, his latest excuse on learning that the Greens and Plaid Cymru would be included, is that he now wants the Democratic Unionist Party to take part too. He knows its patently ridiculous if broadcasters were to ask the DUP they would have to ask all the other Northern Ireland parties too,  if this happened the introductions would take up most of the programme. Cameron also knows that NI voters have completely different  choices. It's just the latest in Cameron's prevarication to avoid the debates altogether. Next thing we will learn is that David Cameron will want to invite one of Nadhim Zahawi's horses, it's absurd.

It must be obvious to all by now, (even die hard Tory voters) that David Cameron is running scared of appearing in these debates and that's fine, he doesn't have to, but the broadcasters should now say enough is enough and issue him with a final timetable informing him that he either agrees to the format or an empty lectern is erected in his place before Cameron does with the TV debates what he has done with weekly Prime Minister's Questions, and turn them into a complete farce.

Everyone knows that David Cameron did not really want Green leader Natalie Bennett to take part, what he hoped to do was to raise the profile of the Greens to take votes from Labour and at the same time hope the broadcasters would drop the idea of the debates in the process. In short he tried to manipulate the situation to his own political advantage. However, it has all backfired and he has made himself look absurd and a like snivelling coward.

Another unintentional consequence of what Cameron has done is shoot himself in both feet with Green leader, Natalie Bennett now taking part. Cameron had wanted her and the Greens to damage the Labour vote, but after her car crash interview with Andrew Neil on the Sunday Politics show Green policies will never stand up to scrutiny and are likely to lose the Greens more votes than they gain.

The Greens main policy is something called the 'Citizens Income', which conservative estimates will cost the Treasury £280 billion per year, when Ms Bennett was asked where the funding was going to come from she could not say, she rattled off a few 'savings' which did not even amount to a billion, on the BBC Marr show the week previous she said that scrapping Trident would pay for the policy. However, if Trident was scrapped (an not factoring in civilian and armed forces job losses) it would only save us £100 billion and that is over thirty years! (And that is a generous estimate). So she had a week to come up with a detailed reply to her funding policy, but failed, which means of course that huge policy commitment cannot be funded and a whole plethora of other cuts would have to take place to pay for it, which would leave people worse off, not better off and that is being generous and not factoring in the tax receipts losses that such a policy would cause. All Ms Bennett did under scrutiny was to say they were working on the funding and would invite people to view Green party website. Ms Bennett also said that belonging to a terrorist group like IS and Al Qaeda should not be illegal in this country!

It's hard to see that when placed under the same scrutiny as the other party leaders in these TV debates that with policies like that, that they could attract much support from Labour. Up until now Ms Bennett and the Greens had escaped national scrutiny, but now of course with Cameron raising their profile for them and their appearance in the TV debates, they will be unable to escape scrutiny and will be questioned as hard as any of the other parties and they are going to spectacularly fail, not at all what Cameron wanted, in fact it could actually result in Labour winning back lost support.

It looks like David Cameron and his election strategist Lynton Crosby could have made a big mistake about Greens stealing Labour support.  Lynton Crosby is also the director of nine companies including Crosby Textor and its subsidiaries, as well as having connections to Tory polling company YouGov! Crosby is an Australian the same as Natalie Bennett and really should have known her debating skills were dubious to say the least, and that Green policies could be described as flaky at best. So even if Cameron appears or doesn't appear, Labour look set to benefit from Bennett appearing - the opposite of what Cameron and Crosby thought would happen. The best thing that Cameron could have done would have been to put his own fear and ego to one side and appear without all the delaying tactics, but yet again he has failed to do so and in the TV debates without the Tory press and biased TV presenters to shield him Cameron will be as exposed as Natalie Bennett. The nation will be interested to learn where his £7 billion in tax cuts will be coming from as yet unfunded and unexplained, will they be funded by yet  more cuts to the benefits of disabled people?  Especially when it has just been revealed that George Osborne's welfare cuts are to be twice as bad as he has revealed! ......

I actually share some of Labour supporters frustration as to why Labour seem reticent to go a little further left, but what I would urge them to think of is the bigger picture. Ed Miliband is centre left, he and Labour do have some really great policy proposals and Labour in government do have a really good track record of keeping their promises. What Labour supporters flirting with Green should bear in mind is that Miliband has to try and reassure all voters that he and Labour are able to govern, that means convincing people in Tory - Labour marginal seats to vote Labour, if they don't, then Labour will not win the election. It really is as simple as that. The irony is that Ed Miliband is known to favour scrapping the First Past The Post  (FPTP) voting system that ignores the votes and concerns of millions of people in British elections, and replacing it with some form of proportional representation (PR), which will help all votes of all voters voting for smaller parties like the Greens to count and voting Green in May will be a vote to deny yourself future representation in parliament and rightly or wrongly, the way things stand, voting for the Green Party on May 7th, is a vote for David Cameron and a vote for giving him another five years in power, to carry on doing things like this: Homeless 14 month old baby forced to sleep in a suitcase in a hostile and this:  "DWP to urgently review decision to axe benefits to family of a 7 year old leukemia sufferer, forced to rely on foodbanks" (don't read if you do not want to shake with anger and frustration at this hideous Tory government!)

I make no bones that I support the Labour party and Ed Miliband for government and prime minister, I honestly believe that a prime minister Miliband and a Miliband government will bring the radical changes and reform that our bank system, our capital system and our voting system actually needs. I also believe that the Conservatives, David Cameron, George Osborne and Nick Clegg and the Tory supporting right wing press know it too, which is why they at every given opportunity try to trash Miliband, they lie about him misrepresent him. The Sunday press of 01/02/2015 proves it. The Tory press have united to fight one person, Ed Miliband, with a stream of spurious reports, innuendo and complete fallacies.
They switch between trying to tell us that Mr Miliband is 'weird' (because he can't eat a bacon sarnie) to he is weak (because he can't eat a bacon sarnie) and he can't possibly lead the country because yes you guessed it, he can't eat a bacon sarnie.

Not a real word to expose the Tory corruption and the astonishing ill judgement of Tory PM David Cameron, or the lies and total incompetence. Nothing about how Cameron stood in front of NHS workers just weeks before the 2010 general election and blatantly lied to their faces when he said "there will be no more top down reorganisation of the NHS", when at this point he KNEW he was going to order the biggest reorganisation in the NHS entire history, he knew because he and the former health Secretary Andrew Lansley had been working on the reforms for SEVEN years at that point - liars the pair of them, blatant liars, the kind that gives politics a bad name and there are many such examples of appalling Tory lies and deliberate misleading, but the Tory press do and say absolutely nothing, because apparently Ed Miliband being caught on camera eating a bacon sarnie the wrong way trumps Tory corruption and incompetence!

In truth the absence in the Tory supporting press of real issues to attack the leader of the opposition with show their abject fear of having Ed Miliband, a real man, a decent and caring man and also a clever man lead this country absolutely terrifies them and it does for one simple reason, far from being 'weak', Miliband is strong and he has stood up to the likes of Dacre at the Daily Mail and stood up to the Sun and Sun owning Australian living in the US, dictating to us what UK government policy should be Rupert Murdoch and won. Miliband forced Cameron to hold the Leveson inquiry, which exposed the sheer sewer mentality that runs through Murdoch's veins and runs through the veins of every gutter journalist and every editor there has ever been  at the Sun from Kelvin MacKenzie (Hillsborough) to Murdoch's little friend and playmate Rebekah Brooks (hacking a murdered schoolgirl's phone). The Tory press know that Miliband will implement the recommendations of Judge Leveson and the Tory press will lose some of their ability to publish lies and get away with it, this is the truth, this is what the Tory press really fear. Far from being weak Miliband is strong and has showed the press he is not scared of them and that he's principled and he's honest and he cannot be bought by them and the Tories and their mates in the biased Tory press know this which is why they attack him constantly, and yet can find nothing better than a bacon sandwich to do it with!

Meanwhile the Tory Press allow Cameron to get away with running 'fowl' from the live TV debates, I wonder why?

Another Day, Another Insult from yet Another Tory!

David Cameron once said he was putting caring back into 'compassionate Conservatism' - really? Can't say I've noticed!

What an appalling condescending arrogant heartless party the Conservative party really is.

A few weeks ago the Labour Shadow Attorney General, Emily Thornberry tweeted a picture of a house which was bedecked in three large tatty, dirty England flags which were covering the windows. The house had a white van on the drive, and apparently the flags had been up there for five months! She did not pass judgement, she just tweeted a picture, this was immediately jumped on by the main stream media (MSM) and all sorts of things were attributed to her which were completely untrue. She resigned quickly, personally, although I like Ed Miliband, I think he was far too hasty, although this did come on the back of a month of personal abuse and attacks on Miliband and the Labour party he probably thought a quick decision was in best interests of Ms Thornberry and Labour and to be fair, the right wing Tory supporting press would not have let it drop, they would have continued with their character assassination of a genuinely good constituency MP (who actually grew up in a council house) and a good shadow cabinet minister until they had pushed her out, simply because she belonged to the Labour party. It is just part of the abuse and dirty tricks campaign being levelled at the Labour party and anyone supporting them.

With Emily Thornberry in mind and the Tory press behaviour, why the are they so quiet over the disgraceful comments of many in the Conservative party?
  • Conservative Peer, Lord Young resigned after inferring that the people 'had never had it so good' during the last recession. He described the loss of a 100,000 public sector jobs as "within the margin of error"
  • A former Tory MP Howard Flight said that benefit changes would "encourage the poor to breed" just days after being awarded a peerage by his good friend prime minister, David Cameron!
  • In 2010 David Shakespeare, the  most senior Conservative councillor in the country said that the unemployed should travel south and work as fruit pickers and replace European migrants!
In recent days we have had another deluge of insults from the Conservative party

  • Former Tory Culture secretary David Mellor, was caught on tape swearing at a London cab driver, calling him a "sweaty stupid little shit". Mellor has form, he has called a victim of child sex abuse "a weirdo". A chef  "a fat bastard" and  the police are investigating for a foul mouth racist rant to a Polish security guard.
  • Andrew Mitchell when he was Tory whip swore at police officers in Downing Street, calling them "f*****g plebs" in earshot of the public. The police officers 'crime'?  They would not open the main gates for him to ride his bicycle out of and had simply asked him to use the side gate.
  • Conservative Lord Freud was caught on tape saying that "disabled people were not worth being paid the minimum wage".
  • Conservative MP Sarah Wollosten and Conservative MEP Daniel Hannan insulted #CameronMustGo tweeters on Twitter when they inferred that tweeters were ignorant and knew nothing about economics.
  • Last week Tory MP Mark Garnier was caught on tape urging George Osborne that there was no need for his party to worry about attracting 'dog-end voters' who live in the "out-lying regions of Britain" they should be ignored as they earn less than £150,000 per year!
  • Yesterday (8th December 2014) Conservative Peer Baroness Jenkin was forced to apologise for saying that "the poor were going hungry because they can't cook!" (Never mind they have no money for gas or electric to cook their food under her government!)
  • Now this is morning (9th december 2014) yet another senior Tory politician, Chris Steward Conservative councillor said "there was no need for food banks as they are an insult to starving people around the world, and that donating to them allowed recipients to spend more money on cigarettes and alcohol"!

How much more of this crap do we have to take from these people who are so far removed from real life? They just don't get it, they don't understand what their policies are doing to good decent folk and what is more they just don't bloody care, they think the Tory right wing press has their backs and they will nit be forced out like Emily Thornberry , and they are probably right! the Tory press are very quiet when it comes to hounding Tories out who behave in this crass insulting way.

It's plainly obvious what the elitist Conservative party think of us ordinary folk, let's show them what we think about them on election day May 7th 2015.

George has got the hump with the BBC.

Poor George Osborne, last Wednesday he delivered his 2014 Autumn Statement to parliament, well I say that, but 99% was leaked in the week preceding the statement, the only thing that was not leaked was what the sycophants at the Sun, Times, Daily Mail and Telegraph kept on referring to as his rabbit out of the hat - 'stamp duty' and the  'little matter' of where his axe was going to fall in the form of vicious cuts to pay for it all.

We are told that Mr Osborne is a little upset because the BBC has been taking him to task over his Autumn Statement bonanza give away, never mind that he has been allowed to get away with 'reannouncing' reannouncements that have already been re-announced several times, or the fact that not once did Osborne allude to where all the billions was coming from to pay for his pre election trickery and blatant attempt to bribe the taxpayers with their own money. The British media, (75% Tory supporting) has allowed this chancellor one of the easiest rides imaginable, not once has any of the usual suspect newspapers quizzed Osborne about where money is going to come from, yet apparently this is not enough for George, he has to moan about the BBC not staying 'on message'.

This Tory chancellor and Tory prime minister have stuffed the BBC full of Conservative cronies from the top to the bottom, so I understand that Osborne is miffed, he obviously thought that the BBC was going to carry on in same biased way they have been carrying on for the past four and a half years, so it must have come as a shock to him when they suddenly decided to do their job and present the truth - for once!

Hopefully this is the start of the BBC regaining their objectivity, but I am not holding my breath. For the past two weeks there has been a campaign running on Twitter under the hashtag #CameronMustGo, it has been trending for two weeks and has been used over a million times. It has made the news and broadcast media in other countries, because the number if tweets it has attracted is unprecedented in twitter terms, yet the BBC have refused to include this in any of their news programmes, apparently, many thousands of people who feel so disenfranchised by the prime minister David Cameron taking to twitter to air their views over a million times is not news! One wonders what is then? Especially as the BBC thought Ed Miliband eating a bacon sandwich a little awkwardly was enough to make their flagship news programmes for a few days.

Two days have passed since Osborne got to his feet in the House of Commons and still the broadcast media and the Tory supporting press have not exposed the most mendacious propaganda that has been allowed to pass for the Chancellor's Autumn Statement in the history of the House of Commons.

Osborne's Promised '£2bn' to NHS Already Unravelling

The NHS is in meltdown, it is imploding before our eyes under the pressures that this Tory controlled government have place it under and it is not even winter proper yet! Not to mention the wasted £3 billion top down reorganisation taking place that prime minister David Cameron, when in opposition, promised us all faithfully would never happen.

How David Cameron's 'Fine Speech' Fooled and betrayed NHS Workers and the public. Please remember that when he made this speech in opposition just a few short weeks before the election, he had already finalised plans with Andrew Lansley to administer the biggest "Top Down Reorganisation" in the history of the NHS!

"There will be no more of those reorganisations that aim for change but instead bring chaos"
David Cameron just weeks before ordering the biggest most chaotic reforms that the NHS has ever known!

Just a few short weeks after assuming (unelected) power, we soon discovered that the PM and his good friend the then Health Secretary Andrew Lansley, had been working on a top down reorganization of the NHS for at least seven years prior to entering government. In short,  basically David Cameron blatantly lied to NHS workers and the public, so can we now trust anything he and his government say about the NHS? Well four and half years later we know the answer, in short, we can't and would be a fool to take anything that Cameron, Osborne and Clegg say at face value. Experience has taught us to question every single thing this government say and promise, and a quick examination of chancellor George Osborne's supposed £2bn extra funding to the NHS shows that we are correct to do so.

A quick breakdown of the £2 billion works something like this:

£1.3 billion NHS underspend returned to the Treasury by the Department of Health (DH)
£0.7 billion reallocation from the DH to the NHS front-line

Equals £2 billion, so where is the new money promised by George Osborne? Well there isn't any, once again the devil is in the detail and it is all sleight of hand with this deceitful Tory controlled government.

Don't look to the Tories coalition partners the Liberal Democrats to expose this deception either, as they have not only helped to keep this government in power, they actually helped the Tories get the Health and Social Care bill (NHS reforms) through the Commons and the Lords which is now an Act of parliament, which is now enabling the fragmentation and the sell off of our NHS, to the private sector and we are powerless to do anything about it. Of the same private sector who are cashing in on the lucrative NHS contracts being awarded by this Government, many actually donate large sums  to Conservative party coffers, in a clear cut case of conflict of interests! NHS For sale?

Already not one day has passed and the Tories rushed and panicked plans on the NHS so called extra funding are disintegrating before our eyes. The £2 billion has quickly evaporated by almost 40% into £1.3 billion.

Questions for George Osborne:

  1. How much of this remaining £1.3bn is 'hypothecated'?
  2. How will this money be allocated?
  3. How long will allocation take?
  4. Will it be allocated to every hospital in the country?
  5. Does this £1.3bn include the £50 million that David Cameron has promised GPs?
  6. How much will each hospital get?
  7. When can hospitals expect this cash? (Winter is already on us)
  8. Is any of this £1.3 billion heading for social care, which has seen savage cuts in funding.
The plight of elderly people having their care packages cut has resulted in many being admitted to hospital unnecessarily and that has led to bed blocking which has led to pressures on Accident and emergency Departments. This is entirely the fault of this government's cuts to social funding and changes to social care under the Tories Health and Social Care Act.

If you are waiting for the press to expose what the Conservatives and their allies the Liberal Democrats are doing to the NHS, please don't hold your breath, because they have no intention of doing so. The press in this country are 75% Tory supporting, with Rupert Murdoch holding the monopoly on the new! He would have held almost 100% if Labour hadn't stopped his BSkyB takeover, with the then Culture Secretary being exposed as lying in parliament, the same minister who is now our Health Minister, Jeremy Hunt (swings and roundabouts and revolving doors).

If you want the truth you are going to have to look elsewhere for your news other than the right wing Tory supporting press and a good place to see how members of the public are reacting is on twitter. Type in #CameronMustGo into search bar and look at almost 600,000 tweets overwhelmingly giving their reason why they want this government out, the NHS figures strongly amid the protests. But the mainstream media (MSM) will not tell you about this either. I you are not on twitter it's worth joining www.twitter.com and looking at the hashtags #CameronMustGo #6monthstowin #webackEd to get a proper feel how real people are thinking and feeling and not what the Tory supporting right wing press are trying to  make you believe real people are thinking and feeling!

Look at the evidence and make your own minds up:

Can you trust a liar with our NHS? Can you trust a Tory with our NHS? Can you trust a Lying Tory with our NHS?

That Was The Reshuffle - That Was!

Esther McVile McVey

Last week saw Prime Minister David Cameron reshuffle his cabinet and with it we were predictably bombarded by the Tory supporting right wing press about how dramatic it all was and how many women were going to be put into so-called big jobs.

Wirral West MP and nonentity minister for employment Esther McVey (better known as Esther 'McVile') was tipped for one of the 'big jobs'. You may recall that not so long ago McVey was preaching to us all how tough it was for everybody (her included) and how we all must cut our cloth accordingly and share the 'necessary' pain. In the event McVile McVey took her own advice literally and got designer Vivienne Westwood to 'cut' her a £585 'cloth' outfit for her much looked forward to sashay up Downing Street in front of photographers where she was eagerly looking forward to being told what her new big job was going to be. I wonder how much her matching shoes and clutch bag cost? (Bet they didn't come from Primark!) Wondering if McVey actually paid the full  cost of her Vivienne Westwood outfit and designer unknown clutch bag and shoes or has she claimed for the cost on her £170,000 per year parliamentary expenses? You know those expenses she is able to claim on top of her MP's and currently ministerial salary?

Certainly her 'pain sharing' gives us all 'foodbank' food for thought and perhaps it's unkind to the pain sharing Esther McVile McVey to indulge in a spot of Schadenfreude in which turns out to be the one bright spot of the entire boring reshuffle farce, but what the heck?! I confess I am reduced to a hearty smirk if not an outright chuckle at the thought of Esther staging a sit-in inside Downing Street after being told she wasn't going to be promoted after all, she was going to stay in the underling role of her junior ministerial post as minister for employment. She threw a major hissy fit (just like Iain Duncan-Spit the Pensions secretary once did) and threatened to resign, because no way was Esther going to face the embarrassment of Sky's Adam Boulton asking her what 'big job' she got and did not want to publicly 'flagellate herself by 'sharing her pain' on emerging from number 10 on the famous steps. That'll teach Esther for believing David Cameron, after his advisers briefed she was going to be offered a major port folio, we keep telling her that Cameron's lies so much he would find it impossible to lie straight in bed!

Seems that Cameron and his politically motivated reshuffle and blatant electioneering from number 10 (paid for by the taxpayer) is wise to the fact that McVile is actually detested by a large part of the electorate namely the disabled, the unemployed, and those adversely affected by the bedroom tax etc. Having got rid of one political hot potato (Michael Gove but not his two right wing maniacal mates Jeremy cHunt and Iain Duncan-Spit who definitely should have gone with him) he wasn't going to promote a new one which may cause him electoral embarrassment, female or not!

Apparently Esther's 'sit-in' inside number 10 caused the weak and dodgy PM David Cameron a headache, what was he to do? He had just managed to calm down Iain Duncan-Spit. Apparently the grossly misleading, disingenuous and downright lying hypocritical Spit didn't want a knighthood just yet (the offer to try and bribe him to go quietly), he is having too much fun being vile to the disabled, poor, unemployed etc. So Cameron decided that Esther would keep her current job as planned but be allowed to sit around the cabinet table as long as she had no voice. She can join the Deputy PM Nick Clegg who also has no voice, they can both make the teas and coffees and provide the choccy biscuits! Esther's not too proud apparently because she has accepted this role which must be excruciatingly embarrassing because not only is she still a junior minister without a proper port folio, she is now a junior minister without a voice as well as without a proper port folio! Apparently the only thing she isn't without is the cabinet minister's taxpayer's funded pay rise, (she still gets one of those), so will she still be telling us all that we 'must all share the pain' after her hefty non port folio non voice non cabinet promotion/promotion pay rise? How will she look the electorate in the eye and say the unemployed must work for their benefits as it is unacceptable to do nothing for them when Ms McVile herself is in receipt of a cabinet mister's salary which she doesn't earn? Does the fact that she has no voice around the cabinet table prevent her from doing the decent thing and refusing this pay rise? Or will she (as ever) along with this corrupt, hypocritical, incompetent, misleading and much reviled Tory government just 'take the [pay] rise' and put her middle finger up to the electorate and add it to her large taxpayer funded salary while claiming for all and sundry on her taxpayer funded expense account while preaching to us that we 'must all share the pain'? After all she went to a lot of trouble to choose that Westwood outfit for her big day, which could have kept a family of four in food and away from the foodbanks for at least five weeks!

Meanwhile Nicky Morgan the new Education Minister who does apparently have a voice around the cabinet table (she thinks), becomes the female version of Michael Gove, holding almost identical views takes up her position, not because she may be good at the job, but simply because she is a woman and Cameron wanted to decorate his front bench in the House of Commons with females in order to stop Ed Miliband drawing attention to his previous all male front bench!

I think Cameron must be quite pained that he couldn't use Esther McVey, her being a woman AND possessing a Northern accent (and all that), the fact that he didn't must mean that he is more terrified of the result of the 2015 general election than we realise!

Meanwhile the Tory right on the backbenches are being appeased by Cameron turning the Conservative party into a pale imitation of Ukip - whatever happened to Cameron's 'compassionate Conservatism'? And old Guard like left leaning Ken Clarke are leaving active party politics and are starting to dish the dirt on Cameron and Osborne. He went off-message when he revealed that Margaret Thatcher wanted to privatise the NHS and he persuaded her not to do it, appeasing her only with introducing private companies and the market into the NHS, which of course leads us to where we are today with the NHS. Labour having saved the NHS from the Tories during their 13 years are now seeing Cameron trying to finish the job that Clarke's appeasement allowed Thatcher to start!

Of course these are just a few of the great many examples of how the Conservative party is actually imploding and is split asunder, but don't expect the right wing Tory supporting newspapers to report anywhere near the truth (and forget the Guardian who doesn't know its political right or left arse from its elbow these days) also don't expect the biased broadcast media like the Tory BBC and Murdoch owned Sky News to inform you of the truth, they won't they are far too busy obsessed with bacon sandwiches and  personally attacking Ed Miliband to report the truth!

They keep saying that voters are not convinced about Ed Miliband, well how can they be when they are forced fed a diet of rancid right wing fat Tory lies on a daily basis? The papers are doing the Conservative Spin Machine's bidding on behest of right wing lobbyist and finger in all bent and twisted pies Lynton Crosby. They are desperately trying to divert attention away from David Cameron and his daily flops and failures, his appalling lack of judgement and gross incompetence by pointing the finger at one of the few honest men in politics - Ed Miliband! Odd really as Miliband has had more success in forcing this atrocious government to act than any other opposition leader in history, but don't expect to be told this!

Electorally, Cameron has been an abysmal failure, in 2010 despite having everything going for him and up against a deeply unpopular PM in Gordon Brown (who the Tories blamed for the GLOBAL recession and what the greed of their Tory banker mates did to this country)  he failed to win a majority and had to crawl to the Liberal Democrats to form a government. In flattering Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg's ego giving him the Deputy PM's job, Cameron was able to manipulate a change in parliamentary terms making them a mandatory 5 years so he couldn't be ousted from his job. All the indications are that Cameron is going to be a loser in 2015 yet again as the polls still stubbornly indicate a Labour majority or a Labour largest party hung parliament. This is unprecedented in British politics for an outgoing government who lost so badly at the polls to be able to get themselves back in just one term, but the right wing press and the Tories do not want us to know this, they want to paint the picture that Miliband is a failure, when really he is not, he is a success, against all the odds, Miliband is a success and it's David Cameron who is the failure and I cannot envisage Cameron's token cabinet females, so placed for election purposes only is going to make much difference to that!
